“…if, in my high moments, I have done some good, offered some service, shed some light, healed some wounds, rekindled some hope, or stirred someone from apathy and indifference, or in any way along the way helped somebody, then this campaign has not been in vain..” – Jesse Jackson

This will be my last post of the year. I will return to blogging on the 2nd of January 2008. Since I am traveling for the first half of 2008 I will be blogging without a schedule to give me more flexibility. I will continue to blog and reply to comments as usual as I will make my way to local Internet cafes on my trip so don’t go anywhere.

As the year draws to a close and the festive season is about to kick into gear I wanted to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all the readers that have visited my Blog since it’s creation in July of this year. It has been you the readers that have made this project so much fun and rewarding. I’ve met some wonderful readers along the way who’ve stopped by and left comments or emailed me with kind words. Your contributions make this site great and it wouldn’t be the same without you.

I wanted to also take this opportunity to give my thanks to the top traffic contributors to 4evayoung.com:

7 Keys To Creating The Life You Want Today

There is something to be said about the person who is willing to forge and create the life they want. In fact it is surprising to see how many people are just passengers in the game we call “life” and how often we kind of awkwardly stumble our way through it as though this is only a dress rehearsal. The sad irony is that life isn’t a dress rehearsal and it isn’t too late to hop into the driver’s seat and start to take back control of your life.

How To Get Yourself Out Of Debt

Snowballing consumer spending has resulted in more families than ever drowning in debt. Consumer debt has now exceeded $2 trillion, reports the Federal Reserve Board and this figure is growing by the minute. According to a recent USA Today article about debt, 78 percent of baby boomer’s have mortgage debt, 59 percent have credit card debt, 56 percent have car payments. So if you’re losing the battle to keep up with the cost of living and are tempted with the abundance of easy credit than bear this thought in mind, three out of five American families can’t pay off their credit cards each month.

How To Dig Your Financial Grave Faster

There is a litany of financial advice out there in the blogosphere, web and book stores to help you get out of debt, invest and manage your financial future. Yet it seems with mounting consumer debt, growing number of families experiencing financial stress and bankruptcy that most people don’t want answers, they just want more ammunition to justify their wayward and consuming ways. If you are a financial train wreck waiting to happen then here are some handy suggestions to quit your stalling and get it over with.

5 Ways To Raise The Odds For Your Success

Success can sometimes be an elusive and nonsensical word with different meanings for different people. The meanings may change over time or remain constant depending on where you are in life. Some might consider success from a materialistic or financial standpoint, others it might be more a measure of how much at peace and fulfilled they are with their life. Whatever your definition of success, it stands to reason that you would want to achieve the very best you can.

8 Money Secrets From Warren Buffett

If you have never heard of Buffett, Forbes currently ranks him as the third richest man in the world and he is arguably the world’s greatest investor. He has amassed his fortune by making astute investment decisions and investing in businesses. Here is what I have learnt from Buffett:

The Smartest And Dumbest Decisions I’ve Made With Money

Since I’m in my late twenties I’ve hardly scratched the surface of smart and dumb financial decisions. My only hope is that as age creeps on my smarter financial decisions out weigh the dumb ones. But alas with youthful enthusiasm I’ve taken a few pot shots at trying to run my life into the financial ditch and I’ve managed to collect myself together to string along some good financial decisions in my later life. Since I’m the ever optimist and like to see the glass as half full, I’ll start my list with the Smart Financial decisions I’ve made so far, it might make me look temporarily smarter until you make it to the second half of the post. Hopefully, you have the time to learn from my mistakes and make wiser choices.

Should You Get Rid Of High Interest Debt Before You Start Investing

One of the most often asked questions I get is whether it is better to pay off high interest debt before starting a savings plan. The logical answer to that question would in most instances be to pay off high interest debt first. This is especially so if you are finding it hard pressed to find an investment or savings strategy that has higher returns than the prevailing interest you are paying on the debt. However, while on the surface this course of action seems the most logical it may be worth a second thought. Here are my thoughts on should you get rid of high interest debt before starting a savings plan.

Are You Willing To Pay The Price To Fulfill Your Dream

There is a growing obsession towards the mindless accumulation of riches, fame and power. It’s a travesty that there are people who know more about the lives of celebrities then they do about those who are truly making a difference in the world. If your highlight of the week is reading about another celebrity self imploding then it’s time to get a real life. It’s time to revitalize that childish wonder that is in all of us, that need to find meaning in our lives and have a purpose for our existence. Here are some ways to get your life positioned to enable you fulfill your dreams.
