Last week I wrote the article about “Living Life Nomadic – The Road Less Traveled”. To continue on that theme I wanted to illustrate that it isn’t as difficult as it might seem. Here are some amazing stories of people who have done just that. They have swapped their city life for a nomadic life traveling the world, even for a short period of time. What is not questioned is that no one ever regretted traveling but many have regretted not taking that chance.

This inspiring film by filmmaker Brook Silva-Braga chronicles his 1 year long term backpacking adventure. The documentary shows the highs and lows of backpacking around the world. If you ever wanted to know the answer to the question “What would it be like to travel the world?” Then this is a film you want to see.

You’ve no doubt seen his dancing videos by now. Matt was invited to Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont to speak about the dancing video and how it was made. In it Matt discusses the good and the bad about his whirlwind travel around the world. He speaks candidly about the highlights of his trips, the things that went wrong and shows some of the outtakes that never made it into his video. Here is the talk in three parts.
